I went to the eurodogshow last sunday and the WSS won the prize for the most beautiful dog!

Question, What is the difference between a WSS and white GSD? Are they technically the same dog just different place of origin?
I think white GSDs are just GSDs. It's not count as a pure breed but WSS is a unique pure breed separate from and independent of the German Shepherd Dog but it comes from white GSDs. I don't how this works in the USA or somewhere else, but here in Finland white is a genetic mistake color for GSD (if I remember it right). But yes, technically they're the same dog.
Thanks. Wikipedia was just confusing me, lol. In US they are considered pure breed but for show I'm pretty sure they are not considered standard to GSD. I've also heard people call then deformities. I love white sheperds thou!
